What these terms cover

These terms govern your use of priyankarp.com, the website of an independent design studio operated by Priyankar P, and the basis on which the studio offers design services. By using this website or engaging the studio, you accept these terms.

The studio and its services

The studio provides UX design, UI design, website design, digital product design, design systems and design engineering. Every engagement is scoped individually: the specific deliverables, timeline, fees and payment schedule for your project are set out in a written proposal agreed before work begins. Where a proposal and these terms differ, the proposal prevails for that engagement.

Proposals and payment

Fees are quoted per engagement and confirmed in the proposal. Payment terms, including any deposit, milestones and final payment, are agreed before work starts. Work begins once the proposal is accepted and any agreed upfront payment is received. Late payment may pause work until the account is current.

Client responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate project information, timely feedback and access to the people and materials the work depends on. You confirm that any content you supply (text, images, data, brand assets) is yours to use and does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

Intellectual property

On full payment, the final approved deliverables for your engagement are assigned to you. The studio retains the right to show the work in its portfolio and case studies unless we agree otherwise in writing. The studio’s pre-existing methods, tools and reusable components remain the studio’s property, licensed to you as part of the deliverables. All content on this website (design, copy, code and case-study material) is the studio’s property and may not be reproduced without permission.

Confidentiality

Material you share during an engagement is treated as confidential and is not published, referenced or shared with third parties without your permission. The same applies in reverse to the studio’s working methods and pricing.

Revisions and changes

Each engagement includes structured review points as defined in the proposal. Changes to scope after sign-off (new features, extra pages, additional rounds beyond those agreed) are quoted and agreed before the extra work begins, so you always approve cost before it exists.

Warranties and liability

The studio commits to professional, senior-level work delivered with reasonable skill and care. Deliverables are provided against the agreed specification; the studio is not liable for indirect losses (lost profit, lost revenue, lost data) arising from use of the work. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Cancellation

Either side may end an engagement in writing. Work completed and approved up to that point is invoiced and payable; any deposit covers work already underway. What has been paid for and delivered is yours to use.

Third-party services

Websites and products often rely on third-party services: hosting, fonts, analytics, payment providers. Those services are governed by their own terms; the studio can advise on choices but is not responsible for third-party availability or policy changes.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the updated version will be published on this page. They were last reviewed in 2026. Terms in force at the time your proposal is signed apply to that engagement.
